Psychology: winning trades.
With this morning's 'anticipation' trade hitting profit very quickly after the CPI data release. I think it's an apt time to talk about reacting to winning trades with a lack of emotion. It's very important not to get carried away, which can lead to becoming too bold or too cocky. Similar to how you should react to loosing trades. Put it out of your mind and focus on moving forward and the next 'decision' you will make.
Speaking of which.... Today's CPI release has created a 'risk on' soft landing environment (stocks up, yields down) and I think short USD or JPY trades are very viable. I currently think the charts have shot up a little too much and my preference is to wait for a little pullback that creates some support to place a stop loss behind.
